Pet Pals
, a prog
ram built on trust and appreciation. The highest compliment you can pay us is to recommend us to your family and friends!  In return, we would like to say thank you by crediting your account $25 each time a new family member or friend brings their pet in for the first time.  It is all part of our "Pet Pals" program here at Rockdale Animal Hospital. Remember, we appreciate you trusting us with the care of your best friend. It's a responsibility we don't take lightly.... and never will.

Rockdale Animal Hospital in Conyers, GA is a full service veterinary medicine pet hospital, not only for your dogs and cats, but also for your more exotic pets such as birds and ferrets, snakes included. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our veterinary services and animal clinic facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets, early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages, and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.

Dr. Raymond Crain, DVM and his expert staff of veterinarians understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We will treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality veterinary medicine and small animal surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner.

Older pets over 7 years of age experience wide variations in health and aging changes including the possibility of developing arthritis, dental disease, heart disease, kidney disease and cancer.  According to the American Veterinary Medical Association studies have shown that as many as 23% of senior dogs and 17% of senior cats that appear healthy have an underlying disease upon physical examination.  Once symptoms appear, the conditions may be much more difficult to manage and treat.  Early detection and treatment ensures a longer, healthier life for your pet. Examining your pet twice a year enables us to divide our preventative screening into two manageable packages.  This will help you plan ahead and shorten the time your pet has to spend at the hospital.
